Well-known writer Juhi Chaturvedi was penning it and the much-acclaimed director Shoojit Sircar was supposed to helm it. We are talking about the film which Sircar had planned with Ranbir Kapoor soon after his Amitabh Bachchan-Irrfan Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer Piku hit the theatres.
Well, it all seemed to have fizzled out as Sircar went on to make Pink starring Amitabh Bachchan and Tapsee Pannu. The word was that Ranbir got busy with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Jagga Jasoos (which are now almost complete).
Suddenly, Bollywood is again agog with rumours that Sircar has been meeting Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh's son all over again.
The duo has had two-three meetings recently and are about to lock on a film.
The Vicky Donor director had denied then that he was making a film with Ranbir, but this time the whispers are much louder.
We won't be surprised if Juhi, who works closely with Sircar, is writing the script yet again.
Meanwhile, Sircar's trailers of Pink have impressed one and many. The film, which releases on September 16, is a courtroom drama-thriller directed by Aniruddha Roy Chaudhary and produced by Sircar and Rashmi Sharma. The supporting cast includes the likes of Kirti Kulhari, Piyush Mishra, Angad Bedi and Dhritimann Chatterjee.
